To be held in Lyon from 18 to 22 September 2017.

This research school is mainly devoted to graduate students, PhD students, and young researchers. The school is focused on the notions of aperiodicity and hierarchical structures in tilings. Courses, given by high quality lecturers, will propose introductions to these topics and in particular : Wang tiles and computability, fusion tilings, self-similar groups and substitutive tilings.

This school is part of the thematic semester "Graphs, Groups and Dynamics". It will be immediately followed by the Workshop on Aperiodicity and Hierarchical structures in tilings from 25th September to 29th September 2017.
